Summary:
In Enslaved Odyssey to the West, players will explore a beautiful, eerie world of war-ravaged cityscapes that have been reclaimed by nature and are fraught with danger at every turn. Think on your feet! Survey the environment, work together with Trip and choose your path to battle through the perilous environmental and deadly enemy obstacles that await. Play through an original story co-written by famed novelist and screenwriter, Alex Garland. Players will attack and defend with agile prowess using a combination of melee attacks, blocks and intense takedowns which allow Monkey to overtake an enemy to steal its weapon for his own use.

The game features a shirtless man with an off-hairdo and melon-like muscles with a hot headed sidekick that is very useful in hacking computers to access locked rooms. Your sidekick usually stares at your muscle-bloke character when she is not doing anything, and wonders if your character is one of those Gay Xchange models. She will be equipped with a bottom that is pretty much useful in bouncing blocks off away from you. Although the characters may look funny, children should still be advised to play with someone of legal age.
This game features a familiar setting of a post-apocalyptic city in the US. You will find New York a city that is overrun by businesses that crashes planes to buildings and mostly scenes of an after war picture. As you go through the game, you will notice that this is not just the average action adventure game. You will experience that there are a few ideas and twists that are never seen in other adventure games. In other words, the game Enslaved Odyssey to the West is a bit special.
The gameplay experience is enhanced for a better platforming and the music as well as the graphics shows an impressive fluidity, agility and grace among the main characters. In addition, the plot is terrific since it is based on a classic story which is about an ancient Chinese legend. Therefore, Enslaved deserves a high score with regard to intriguing plots and interesting story lines.
The games combat system is also something to watch out for since it provides a good array of both melee attacks and magical long ranged attacks. Upgrades on each item can also be made by purchasing them using a collectible tech orbs that are scattered around levels. You will also find the bosses on each level pretty much challenging since they have longer lives and require a proper pattern of beating in order to defeat them. However, as you go through the game, you will develop techniques and methods that can make your job easier. This game deserves a thumbs-up for quality and performance.
