Xbox 360

Forza Motorsport 2 in the 2nd instalment in the series and contains lots of new tracks, cars, modes and features are loaded in the game which were called on to meet the high expectations of gamers. The game has also improved the previous driving models, an excellent add-on to the already fascinating game. Forza 2 puts together the best model cars from 50 of the best-known companies, with plenty of after sales parts and upgrades and realistic race tracks such as Nurburgring, Sebring, and Mugello. Players can choose from high-end cars like Mini Cooper, Saleens, McLarens, and Ferrari. The race wouldn’t be complete without the racers who are top class racers from across the globe. Most of the race tracks can be played with the different game modes: Arcade, Career, Multiplayer, Time Trials, and Free Run modes. Although, experienced gamers might find some tracks dull.

The wide array of cars is well chosen. Each car has its own unique grip on the tracks so players will sense the difference with each of his cars. Every car has its own distinctive feel and no two cars are similar, each having its own stats and parts. Car collision is even more intense as the graphic jives with the audio perfectly. Once a player gets hold of a car it performs just as a real-life race car does.

With time players will discover that the cars fall under a lettered classification system and a performance index in numerical value. Constant upgrades and parts installation boost the car’s performance. It’s important that the individual stats are maintained at its maximum capacity every time.

Players race with other racers on the weekly tournaments by going through the elimination race. Online players can choose to compete with other players and post their records on the board; each race can hold a number of racers depending on the tournament size. Playing online will get players hooked even more as they can sell cars and set biddings for their cars. While racing be wary of unexpected car damages and collision as it affects the car's performance greatly. You can even capture pictures and send them online. Excitement and fun pervade the entire time a player holds the stirring wheel.

Forza’s graphics may not score well but its in-game menus, courses, and overall production are outstanding. The overall performance is excellent with no lag or loading errors. It also has a well thought of intro movie that teases anyone who watches them. The graphic features are coupled with respectable sound effects. Car engines, collisions and voice talents, all sound realistic. In general Forza Motorsports 2 for Xbox is one of the few driving games in the market worth playing.
