Resident Evil: HD Remaster contains a high definition revamp of a title that was released in 1998; a Special Forces team is sent to investigate some bizarre murders on the outskirts of Raccoon City. 3 The Evil Within: The Assignment - Xbox One

The Evil Within: The Assignment on the Xbox One is a continuation into the dirty and grimy world that The Evil Within created. Developed by Tango Gameworks and later published by Bethesda Softworks. The survival game puts you into the shoes of Juli Kidman and it pushes you to complete a two part story in which you will have to find answers through any means necessary. Having played the original Evil Within is mandatory going into this game so if you want to avoid spoilers, you should probably quit reading right about now. 8 Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Episode 3 - Xbox One

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Episode 3 is a great continuation of a game that looks to have righted the ship for Capcom. There is a perfect blend of tension, puzzles, and action elements in an appropriate sized serving. Episode 3 showcases some of that traditional Resident Evil puzzle solving flair. Being the longest episode released so far in the series, it was nice to see a host of puzzles crop up to get in our way. The puzzles aren’t impossible but they do get frustrating, so have a guide handy on your laptop if you need. The puzzles you face are thankfully logic based rather than relying on some 'find the needle in the haystack' style quirk.
9 Resident Evil: Revelations 2 - Xbox One

Resident Evil Revelations 2 tale sees fan favourite Claire Redfield make a dramatic return. Survivor of the Raccoon City incident depicted in previous Resident Evil games, Claire now works for the anti-bioterrorism organisation Terra Save. Moira Burton is attending her welcome party for Terra Save when unknown armed forces storm the office. Claire and Moira are knocked unconscious and awaken later to find themselves in a dark and abandoned detention facility. Working together, they must find out who took them and to what sinister end. With the terrifying Afflicted enemies waiting around every dark corner, players will need to use their ammo and weapon supply wisely, in classic survival horror style.

13 Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Episode 4 - Xbox One

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Episode 4 is a direct pull from the Franze Kafke novella, Metamorphosis. The novella was written about a man who slowly transforms into an actual human sized insect. His transformation makes him a social pariah and it mirrors his descent into madness and grief. Once you are finished with the episode you will be handed extra downloadables titled 'The Struggle’ and 'Little Miss'. These vignette episodes add depth to a few characters in the game and last a combined one hour or so.
14 Zombie Army Trilogy - Xbox One

Zombie Army Trilogy is a terrifyingly intense third person shooter set in a gruesome alternate vision of World War II. Berlin 1945. Facing defeat at the hands of the Allies, Hitler has unleashed one last unholy gamble - a legion of undead super soldiers that threatens to overwhelm the whole of Europe. 18 Dying Light - Xbox One

In Dying Light, players choose from four customizable characters and then head into a decaying world overrun by infected zombies. The first-person, free-running action is reminiscent of EA DICE's Mirror's Edge, but instead of speeding across rooftops to avoid agents of a totalitarian government, gamers bound through cluttered alleys and ramshackle dwellings as they attempt to rescue survivors, gather needed supplies, and upgrade their weapons. Gamers can fight back thanks to environmental attacks and crafting system that lets them upgrade and customize dozens of melee and ranged weapons, including axes, bats, knives, and guns. Multiplayer fans can also get in on the action thanks to a four-player co-op mode.
19 White Night - Xbox One

White Night starts you out in 1938 as a mysterious man who has suffered a strange car accident. Shuffling along, in pain, you find refuge in what appears to be the creepiest house ever built. As the rain and thunder crescendos around you and your injured body, you open the door and submit yourself to the terror that is waiting. The cinematic angles, the striking visual effects, and the flickering of the lights all make this just wonderful, and tense.
20 Resident Evil 6 - Xbox One

In Resident Evil 6, the first campaign begins with Leon S. Kennedy and his partner Helena Harper attending an anti-bioterrorism speech by the President of the United States, only to be forced to kill him when he becomes an infected mutant. A second campaign features Chris Redfield and Piers Nivans as they head to China to battle the spread of a powerful new strain known as "C-virus." The third campaign takes place in Eastern Europe and stars Jake Muller, son of series antagonist Albert Wesker, and Raccoon City survivor-turned government agent Sherry Birkin, as they flee from a biomechanical abomination know as an Uranak. The fourth campaign can only be unlocked once gamers finish the first three, and it stars longtime series antihero Ada Wong.

7 Days to Die on the Xbox One is set in a brutally unforgiving post-apocalyptic world overrun by the undead, the game can be seen as an open-world game that is a unique combination of first person shooter, survival horror, tower defense, and role-playing games. It presents combat, crafting, looting, mining, exploration, and character growth, in a way that's completely new to the survival game genre. Players will be able to take over a ruin, or build from the ground-up. Design your fortress to include traps and defensive positions to survive the undead - the world is fully destructible and moldable.
